Yeah, you 'eard. It's a haiku thread.
Basically, for those unfamiliar with what a haiku is, it's a special type of poem. Manufactured by NONE OTHER than the JAPANESE, it's a short, three lined poem that follows a very specific syllabic pattern and rarely ever rimes. The pattern for a haiku is five syllables on the first line, seven on the second, then five again for the third. And now for a haiku about haikus.
This is a haiku
Five seven five, three lined poem
Does not have to rhyme
See? It's that easy.
Well, actually, it isn't. You must respond to the last post with a haiku. No slacking, now! I'll start.
