Do levels go down?

I switched servers and my level went down from 12 to 8 (in scoreboard), but none of my stats have changed, and my Axe level is still at 12. Is this right? I don't see the point of playing if I'm just gonna lose hours of work for nothing. :?

You are here --> X
You probably breached the level 4 barrier with 2 weapons. Example:
You have 1 skill above 4 (so now you have a title) let's say it's swordmanship and that it's at level 8
but your title (level 8 swordsman or something like that) can only be calculated by swordmanship cause it's the only skill above level 4.
Now you level blunt arms too. Let's say to 6.
You will now go from a level 8 swordsman to a level 7 something. Before title level was only calculated by 1 skill (title level = skill 1). But now that you have 2 skills above level 4 it's "tittle level = (skill 1 + skill 2) / 2".
That's probably the reason. :D

Ohh, well one server I joined, when I spawned my spell book was in my hand instead of my weapon which was weird as it's a two handed axe, then I dropped the axe out of nowhere, and couldn't pick it back up, so I bought another weap' for a few mins till I got another axe.

Wouldn't it be better for the scoreboard to show the level for the type of weapon you're using, else this sorta thing makes you look real weak to other players. :)

Now this is important: Click only ONCE on your char. Doing it more than once somehow gives you a screwed character (tough not permanently, still, if it happens, reconnect as fast as you can)

We've been playing with various idears to make the scoreboard level more meaningful - although that probably wouldn't be one of them due to it being equally unreliable when a specialist pulls out a new weapon type.
