Hi I have been playing master sword for a long time now, and figured I would donate to the mod. I clicked the donate link on the main msc website and it says that the donations would be going to kuroneko's Email. My question is; Is kuroneko still active? I have not seem him on the forums or in game in what seems like eons. Would it be better to donate to thothie,Mib or Blasto for hosting? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Thothie, MiB, and Blasto have no REAL costs for the game (other than it causing us pain). Kuroneko has the site to pay for. While we would be appreciative, I don't think anyone has ever donated to us, and I think we'd like send it to Kuro, anyway.

No Lord K means no MSC, so donate motherf*ckers! :p

He's around - just doesn't like to get involved with the forums (for obvious reasons). He's recently expanded the storage area we have on the site for MSC files (due to the betapackage's ass expanding way outta hand, once again.)

I am very much around and check the forums several times a week. I just don't find enough time to play games nearly as much as I used to. To which I blame Real Life (tm). Nowadays I pretty much just make sure that the site stays online and whatnot. I have managed to get on and play MSC from time to time, however, my character is a fairly low level (compared to what seems to be average these days) and is not named Kuroneko :)

Also, I did receive the donation and for that I thank you whole heartily :D

Question, will we ever be getting the wiki back? I'd really like to see it again.

Sadly, thats been a sticking point with the host. No wiki software will run, but they kept saying that it's the application and not the server. Perhaps I should take another shot at it, it has to be something.

Could always put the info on Thoth's/My website and just link them there if you can't get it working.

Actually, it would appear that I've got it working again. It almost seems as if the host has something against 3rd party wikis. Strange what a little renaming can do...

w00t! Wiki's back! See what you get when you give the Lord K some candy? ;)

I was considering transferring it to my site, but my host chokes on the SQL it wants to use, so it would have meant rebuilding it from scratch. I installed some third party wiki's experimenting with this, but now that this is back... Maybe I can consider working on that scripting wiki again... If I wasn't swamped actually scripting.

Looks like a very old version of the Wiki there, but better than starting from scratch, surely.

I would beg to differ on the fact of cost, just like any server it costs to run it :p.

if people are wondering I pay 100 bucks a month for a 30 down 5 up connection business class at that so my packets have higher priority and I have no 250 gig bandwidth cap... silly comcast.

other than that the server has about a 500 watt PSU that just eats power.

so when saying it doesn't incur a cost, I must beg to differ. Though I fully agree that my costs are not nearly that of keeping this forum going... though if I improved my server just a touch more I could probably host the master sword forums.
