marche im'd me a link to a page that looked exactly like a steam login page, but was obviously a phishing site. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt that this wasn't the real marche but someone who tricked him into getting his password.

Yeah, those pop up every now and then. I usually try to troll them or just mess around, sometimes they reply but often not.

Never tell your password to anyone.

@Dridje: He probably lost his the same way there were trying to trick Rickler: a "friend" messaged him, gave a link to that page and he logged in.

weird stuff, he also sent me that link and i thought something bad was going on, at least i dont believe the real marche is trying to hack friend's accounts >_<

I even saved the lil chat i had with him, i just ignored him after 2 or 3 replies after he linked me that crap... Not only that, steam groups are bullshit. I'm in like 60+ groups and at least 3 times a week i get random chat invites from unkown ppl sending me links to free steam games. All i got to say now is STEAM SUCKS.

It's times like these I'm glad my primary account's Steam Community function doesn't work... I just have it disabled on all the others. Not worth the hassle, loss of game stability, or the overhead. Can't even play NS with it active on my laptop - nevermind MSC.
