So he was almost near home, coming from work. He got off the bus and see a group of 4 black people across the left street. He cross over to the right street. As he got 10-15 meter from them, 2 black people started walking to him. As he near a turn on the sidewalk, those 2 black people started to run after him. He didn't heard the running. Those 2 people tried to trip him. *Fight Fight Fight Fight* ripped his pant, and stole $200, a cellphone, and probably his wallet (which I aint sure of). I think he had another $400 somewhere. 2 girls pass by in the middle of the fight and phone the police. Then me and my mother was called from the hospital to go look at him. He got bruised and bleeding, but all on the side stomache, arms and elbows.

For like $15 you can get this little booklet of things called "Checks." You should check into that.

Also, hope your father is doing alright. He should also look into carrying some sort of weapon if hes got to go through a crappy part of town often. I used to carry a pistol, but after carrying it for 2 years and never even coming close to needing it I've started carrying a set of brass knuckles. You can get pepper spray for less than $10 at almost any store, and it works. I bought my fiancee a little thing of it that clips right to her keys.

Trust me - it's less trouble to get mugged than to shoot someone. ;)

But yeah - checks... Direct debit also good - although sometimes Visa will mug you if you have that.

Eh, pistol is an extreme. Pepper spray is really probably the best thing you could ever get. I recommend buying it for a fiancee/mother/sister, or yourself if you.

Just learn Muay Thai and give the robbers some knees and elbows to the face.

Why do I get the impression P walks around with 100 dollar bills hanging out of his pockets just to beat on muggers?

I think he puts a mask on at night and beats the shit out of street muggers, saving the chicks and such.

Perhaps he's really a Romanian taijutsu fighting demigod. Who knows.

Knee deep in shit
Go to a military surplus store and buy a riot baton, they fold up nicely and can hit quite hard. Not expensive either.

They are actually called ASP batons or telescoping batons. And at least in my state, they are outlawed.

Brass Knuckles are outlawed in most states as far as I know, but I still carry them. Pockets are great.

I don't go anywhere without my Kershaw "spring assisted" knife.

The US is scary. I don't go anywhere without pants, that's about it.

Rule to survival in the US: If you don't see horses or gays, don't get out of the car.

Granted, horses and gays raise property values, so it's kinda expensive to live near them.

That's the worst, most innaccurate rule of survival for the US ;-)

Maybe for you weird Californians...

Realistate values are so insane out here, if you see horses, that means people with money. People with money don't rob you - er, rather, they don't mug you.

Gay people don't rob you, because if they do, they have to turn in their gay cards. ;) But the same property value rule applies.

If you see spray paint - drive faster. ;)

Well, they do steel things... I must have had about $10,000 bux worth of stuff pilfered from my place(s) between 89 and 95 by the various lesbian speed addicts I always seemed to wind up babysitting. I think that's more the amphetamine than the gay somehow though. ;)
