Giving gold?

Is there a way to give someone gold from your own inventory?

I want to help out my friend a little by giving him some gold to buy some stuff.

If there is a way, id like to hear how, id appreciate it. Thanks.

There was a rudimentary system in 1.35, and it worked about half of the time, but at least you could transfer gold...

the only way today you can transfer gold person to person is through bank notes, which you cannot make at the bank; you can only pick them up in chests (and they have a 100g limit )

Ah yes i remember now! Back in the old days there used to be a option where you could give gold. Hahaha, i remember some guy randomly gave me 1000000 gold out of no where. I guess thats why the feature was removed.

There's a broken trade option in the f11 menu when you use it on other players.

Not so much broken as never applied, I suspect.
