Ill give you a few pointers since my ms_snow work speaks for itself (omg I just degraded myself by saying that)

the first two look pretty well put, the third one is a little too simple for my taste. one suggestion though, I noticed in the second picture that the texture looked stretched. to change that, open your toggle texture application window, and select the stretched texture. then click on the "world" check box, and also make sure that the scale and the shift are at 1.00 and whatever (respectively).

lookin good.

silly world checkbox user ;)

face is what you want to use for a single texture face being messed up :D

easy tip to experiment with. Make a bunch of triangles all at the same level and all the same height. Then raise/lower the corners to your standards.

That is exactly what the terrain generator does, only it's quicker and easier.

I tried that program. I opened it and I was like "Um, how the **** do I use it?!?"

So, I did what any person naturally does when they have a program which they can't use and don't need, I uninstalled it.

Anyway, here are some more pictures of Vertex Manipulation guys. Tell me what you think.

Enjoy. :D

Also, I just want to thank you Squirrel, you've proved most helpful.

(P.S. Do the textures look good?)

I dont think the textures run together very well but alone they are good. Also try not making the ground so pointy

Alright I'll try next time. Also, I thought the textures would work pretty well together, cause when I see those pictures, the first thing that comes to mind is a rock out in the ocean.
