It's a very hard decision but I think I'll have to go for Half-Life 2 because the gameplay is so much more because of all the physics puzzles.

I like the classics the most personally, but there are some really great source stuff.

Classics for me. You don't get TFC (yeah, yeah, TF2, but that's out in 17 days) and The Specialists on Source.

Well I'm a huge fan of the Half-Life series; I've played Half-Life, the Uplink demo (which features a few levels not found in the full game), the Opposing Force and Blue Shift expansions, Half-Life 2, The Lost Coast and Episode One.

They're all awesome games (Opposing Force being the least awesome, by the way) so it's a tough choice.

Currently I'm waiting for the PC port of Decay (Half-Life: Decay is a two player co-op campaign that was included with Half-Life for the Playstation 2) and of course Episode Two.

My information.
I voted for Half-Life 2, mostly because when I played HL2: Episode One, I was very jubilant; the part where "Dog" throws you over the abyss in a vehicle just to help you out... so awesome.

EDIT:
Oh, and after you've read that... WARNING, SPOILER INCLUDED IF YOU STILL HAVEN'T PLAYED HL2: EPISODE ONE!!!

EDIT2:
Changed "HL2: EPISODE 1!!!" to "HL2: EPISODE ONE!!!" for the sake of not feeling as though I was pressing the "1" key too many times.

HL1. Sequels are always over done.

Gameplay>Graphics

And to me, easier to code/model/map/whatever.

Sometimes you wonder why we have monthly patches for the Half life version of MS:C, but barely anyone is working on source.

I have to say, hl2 had better game play AND graphics. There is a reason it is harder to code for. It is more advanced.

I like Half-Life 2 better.

It's so flexible when it comes to graphics and the variety of low end and high end computers.

Don't blame him, blame the Norwegian school system.

Even our prime minister speaks English like that.

Yet you type English just fine.

Evaan is an exception. He respects the fact that people don't like having headaches trying to decipher ... whatever the hell that is. Besides that, he has been involved in online communities for awhile, playing many MMO's and whatnot, so he has a fairly decent grasp on how English works. More so than most Americans, actually.

I wasn't attacking him. I was saying that, if he's learned to type English well enough, why can't others even make the attempt to?
