Idea for Lightning Storm.

The current lightning storm spell is, as you all know, very bugged. I suggest we make it something like this.

Yea, not what I meant though. I know it moves, but it also only strikes lightning when theres a target underneath it. IMO doesn't look good.

Well:

1) This topic is about the lightning scroll spell and that movie.

I think that the lightning storm could use some improvement as it is, since the lightning strikes a good foot above ground :| I think it would be an awesome idea, only if it continuously to strike lightning as it moves.

Also that lightning storm in the film clip only shot lightning bolts when the enemies were near, which could put an end to the lightningbolt-inside-of-brush-crash.

i dont like mobile lightning storms make it stay like it is just more damage as you level

As discussed before, the plan is already to make LStorm mobile, and it already does more damage as you level.

Erm, he was the developer demonstrating what the mods spell is like.

Are you talking about the Oblivion video? I don't see if he had godmode or having all the spells would make the moving lightning storm a bad idea for msc :|

If nothing was changed but the fact that it moves, it wouldn't change how much damage it does to one target. Right now it doesn't act like Ice Storm(blizzard) or Poison cloud so it doesn't really matter :\ Infact, it would hit more targets, doing more damage.

That was a bit off bringing up your disdain for somebody who plays Oblivion, when they are obviously demonstrating something & not necessarily cheating (as if it matters if they cheat on Oblivion, that's a whole graphical engine apart from MSC)...
