So as I promised here is the improved female playermodel. I increased the waist sized, decreased her breast size, decreased her hand size, increased arm density and gave her a new face.
Its actually the same face, originally that face was the female Gordon Freeman.
When they canned a female model for Half-Life they decided to reuse the model for the holographic assistant.
They modified the skin to make her look older, such as giving her grey hair, big brows, and wrinkles in her front.
EDIT: I am working on a fix for her waist which is a bit out of propotion now that i look at it.
Its the way the vest is designed, there is not much i can do about it.
At least I made her look more human compared to the anorectic version that looked like she could not even hold a sword let alone defeat people like Maldora.
I actually like G's newer version it could use some touch ups but it is good. Big breasts serve no purpose in combat at all and would only be a hindrance in the fight against Maldora with all the male adventurers trying to court her and what not. The waist is an improvement as well.
The armors should make her body vanish, but that bit has always been quite dicey. Hoping it's working better under the next patch - although it almost always comes up clean under basic testing, so I'm not sure.
The armors also adjust size, slightly, for the female body (and the helms move down a notch).
I have an idea, release a test build to the public with the latest incarnation, a map with most different armors and helmets in the game and allow the testers to stress test the armor system.
Not as many as I'd like, tis true, but it isn't quite up to snuff enough to quite call "beta" yet. Hopefully enough to stress test that though - as it is, we had to go slightly out of house.
