I've been having problems using most of my one handed weapons, they don't swing and I can't attack with them. Well I can use one weapon, Calrain's Mace. However I can't use my GIB, FlameLick, PFCK, Bone Blade, or High Elven Sword. I've tried wielding them 2 handed and swiching hands and nothing. I've tried using them with my Rune Shield and only the shield swings. My 2-handed weapons work fine, like my Rune Axe, Great Axe, Greater Thunder Axe, Snake Staff, and Fire Gauntlets, as do my spells.
I also just got the Urdulian Shield, lucky me. However, I can't put it away with q, it tells me I have too many Urdulian Shields. This is strange, because I only have one. I tried dropping my Rune Shield and I was then able to put away my Urdulian Shield, but then picking up my Rune Shield after that I was unable to put it away. Somehow just playing around I was preping a spell and picked up my Urdulian Shield and it went into my small sack!?! My Rune Shield won't go in there or anything else, like my big sack or backpack.
If anyone is wondering how many items I'm carrying around, it's around 60-63. Thou a couple of weeks ago it was as high as 74, but I've purged my inventory to bring it down.
I've noticed since the latest patch that my stats have been looking funny too. I don't know if this is a problem that's been around for awhile, as I've been away from the game for a few months.
I'm really hoping that I don't have to roll-back, as I can't remember how long it's really been since I've been having my weapons problems. This could be a 2-3 week old problem. As to why it's taken me so long to talk about this, well I don't use my 1H weapons much.
Is it possible to have my character "remade"? Meaning I take screenshots of my character stats, inventory and known spells and my character is deleted and made again with the stats and items I have? I realize the items could be a problem. Is it possible to load in another character and drop items that I have? I would think that someone has the ability in the game to "create" items for testing purposes, so I would hope it is do-able. I know this sounds like a pain in the ass to do, but for me it would be a much greater pain in the ass to have to start over again. It's my level 36 main character and it taken me a huge amount of time to develop it. Or does this sound like I'm going to have to live without my 1H weapons if I want to keep my character?
