Suggestion: find a fun bug like a boar climbing a wall (do we still have these?) and give it Kuro's subcaption - "We've replaced the old, boring bugs with newer, more interesting ones!"

So we were farming Lodagond, and I realized that there were two people from the three major guilds; furthermore they were all wearing matching armor, so I was all "HAY GUSY SKREENSHOT LOL."

Pfft, everyone and their damned cousin has that thing now. Lod... *cough* The map it is on, was perpetually farmed from Dec 23rd to Jan 1st - until I took off the damn broken AMXmodX and they lost the ability to vote for the map they were on (plus I moved it to the harder chest).

Oh so that's why now item X spawns on chest X instead of the other chest!

I don't think you should worry so much about it. It's was like playing diablo 2 on battlenet and complaining when someone is walking around with all the best equipment from farming for a year straight. Who cares? You can't stop people with no life from persisting in a game to get the best eq.
I really respect the anti-cheat functions in the game and all the work you've done. At the end of the day it's not really to stop people from getting the best equipment, right?
I think the main thing to think about is how to get NEW players into the game and make it more easily accessable to them. Currently, a new player has to go through the forums to find out what the game is, to find out how to even install it, and then how to play the game. Once they finally get on FN they need to figure out how to change the server's map to edana (and figure out that's where they need to go) and try and figure out what to do in the game. The gap between newb and vets is HUGE.
Anyway, apart from derailing the topic I think Sabre's group picture would be great to put on moddb if it ever gets updated.
I got a little idea to maybe help the newbies out
Give em their own little newbie section on the forums filled with all the information needed to create a lan server and how to connect to FN and why FN is the way it is. I also think there should be a little guide about the level restrictions from levels 3-12, just so they can get use to the idea that not every weapon they'll get their hands on will work for em :|

Sounds like a good idea. Newbies also don't know where to find any equipment. Unless they start together in a group of three they have almost no chance of finding any of the good equipment. They don't even know that you need a group to increase your chances of finding stuff.
I've beaten snow about twenty times and still not found a GiB with 2-4 people on the server (this was a couple weeks after snow came out). I know that's where it is and I've tried to beat it even more times on my own. How could a player that doesn't know where items have a chance of experiencing a large part of the game?
I'm not saying you should publically post where all the items are found and the exact stats of everything but keep in mind how hard it is for someone to get into the mod.
This mod is fantastic. I know that there could be a larger player base if the game was more noobs friendly and then a little updating of moddb/advertising was done.
