Listen Server

My program wont let me create listen servers anymore. I have it set to LAN so it's just me(regular servers too laggy) but it doesn't work. It will load up the screen so it looks like its going in, but stops about 3/4 of the way done and just goes back to the main screen. Any help?

**Edit**I've been playing the game for about a week now, and it has let me create them all those times, it's just now that it has suddenly stopped working. I've tried reinstalling and restarting my computer, but it doesnt work.

Are there any error messages that appear in the console?

I actually meant to check the console, and then totally forgot to do it.

*loads ms to check console*

This is one of those classic, errors that appear when you are alone, but never happen when you try to explain it...It stopped, for the moment, and is letting me load listen servers again, maybe it was just angry with me. Ok gonna go back to enjoying ms.

Lol I'm geting screwed over by the same thing I've been playing this for about a month then all the sudden it just wont work it does let me make lan games it wont tell me the error in the console ethier so I'm geting screwed. I cant't train on my own anymore all I can do is joni people's servers and it started doing this the other day and I've tryed so many things to fix it and it just wont

Hmmm... Wonder if there was some Steam update that finally killed the client server...

Mine seems to work...

I'm using the Self Installer Version with the 2.1 Enhancement Pack so I can't be sure if the old install wasn't skewed by an update somehow without reinstalling MS. But this combo seems to work fine, for me anyway.

If I get the time I'll look and see if any new issues with the older version popped up as a result of a Steam update, or whatnot.
