Everytime we change map the character sits down and isnt selectable. Fuznet is connected. The charcter shows. But the name is gray, he sits down, and isnt playable. Why does it do this? Only edana works.

*Laughs at WeissberV*

There aren't spawn-anywhere CHARACTERS, there are spawn-anywhere MAPS ;-). Go download and install the spawn-anywhere map thingy from thothie.com/ms

The betapackage includes the spawn anywhere updates. If you don't use the betapackage, you can only start in Edana.

Hmmm... Does it do this on all servers, or just your personal server... Can ye post your listenserver.cfg?

Are you transitioning with changelevel or by going to the transition points?

I can tell you right now there is nothing wrong with your configuration file.

the spawn anywhere patch is about the only thing I can think of.

best bet, reinstall the latest beta package on it again, and say yes to everything except the setup for FN. Make sure STEAM is closed.

Similar issue, same response:

Check the date on the BSP's, and be sure the betapack if pointing to the proper MSC folder. If you manually moved Steam, or copied it from another computer, your Steam registry will be corrupt and the self-installer will not be able to find the MSC folder proper. You'll have to point it manually and, preferably, reinstall Steam (as this also causes other problems).
