The problem isn't that you need to make it lighter, mikkel. The problem is that you filtered out every color but green. I think that even the areas of black fur should become greenish, or at least keep the texture. Right now, your black is too black and your wolf lost some detail because of it.

Well, if you look at the first/orginal texture of the wolf it got black areas too, but I'll try and make one without.
