Yeah, Sam wants to move downtown which is counterproductive.

Rent here fluxuates between 650-1200$/m. The 50$/s is just a part time thing, he's going to hire me to be an assistant photographer come september. 3;

I wasn't implying that you were literally begging, but you NEED a place and you have very little money, so you can't afford to be choosy.

You should move to kentucky, and live in the apartments near here, a one bendroom by my college is 500$/mo minus electricity and water, 800$/mo for 2 bedroom, pretty good places too, no pets though. But if you can find a full time job anywhere, and get past the first two paychecks on ramen and water, you'll be on your feet.

It isn't that he can't read, it is more like he doesn't believe you.

Anyways I was faced with a similar situation. My parents wanted me out because they wanted to make a little more money renting out my room or something stupid like that. I had no money, and the job I had was minimum wage. There was no way I was going to be able to afford a college education AND live on my own. Enlistment is the smartest thing I have ever done. They basically pay you to learn and live. The Air Force (not sure about the other branches) actually offers you free schooling up until your bachelors degree (via CCAF ((community college of the Air Force))). It is a sweet setup.

I don't care if he doesn't believe me. He is just acting like a 10 year old.
He doesn't pay any of my bills so why should I care that he believe me or not. Villager post worthless sh*t. I am getting god damn tired of him now and he is getting f*cking annoying.

Anyway... thats a good move HomestarR... If I had that choice I would have done that. but can't due to my disablity.

You're saying he acts 10 and the best you've got to a death request is the ever famous from 7th grade "You first"? How about you grow up? If you were really mature you'd quit dragging threads into hissy fits with people you don't like and just ignore them like I'm now going to do to you, flamer, /rant off.

Anyway, back onto the effing subject, enlistment can be pretty nice if you're willing to put up with what you've gotta go through with the army. Tends to pay quite well and they really take care of ya, however we've got that whole Iraq thing going right now, so I'd be pretty dubious about it.

I have known many people who have gotten a waiver for their asthma, but it might be mild cases I am thinking of.

That is too bad though. I don't have any other suggestions other than getting a roommate to help split costs. Finding a trustworthy roommate is going to be tough though.

Iraq isn't as bad as the media makes it seem. Afghanistan on the other hand...

Dude, you can get lack of High School education written off right now. We're in a perpetual war - they are putting the national guard on the front lines FFS - you really think they are going to turn you down for anything short of regular, near fatal, asthma attacks?

Granted, for that same reason, and for the general mental trauma the military tends to provide (even if you never see combat) - and due to the fact that the current war is funded by stripping the current soldiers of all retirement benefits, I'd recommend against enlistment.

Get a job doing construction. It pays well, and people are almost always looking for workers. I moved from southern Missouri to Indianapolis in 2005 with only $500 in my pocket. I crammed everything I owned in my car and just left.

I live minutes from downtown Indianapolis, blocks from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and only pay around $500 (including renters insurance) a month for a 2br apartment with my fiancee. You just have to keep your eyes open for a good deal.

I really would only recommend getting a roomate if you don't want to pay a whole lot of rent. If you do, make sure you know who you're rooming with, and will be able to stand them. I can't even count how many times my friends have gone into rooming with someone they work with or something only to start crying about how annoying they are two weeks later.

Oh, and Hi.. I'm new to MSC, but I used to play MS back in the day.

Too bad you're working on C+++, I understand most games are written in C++
