Lol...
Make your password not so obvious: e.g. 123456

Make your password consit of numbers and words, and numbers
OR words and numbers and words

e.g.

093cat12

cat19230chow

And yeah, bascially check for key loggers, or reformat your computer ;)

There's no moderation department at MSN sfaik.

There was a hotmail security issue awhile ago that made everyone's hotmail MSN passport passwords accessible. You might simply consider changeing your hotmail and MSN passwords.

Failing that, get a new hotmail account, and attach your MSN to it.

also, if you want an unhackable password...use a reaaaaly special character...

like ╜ or ù or ╪

(you can make those by holding alt, and hitting three keys on the number pad, then letting go of alt)

Well, it'd make dictionary attack a bitch, but somehow I doubt someone took the time to get his MSN password via dictionary attack. ;)

I also, don't see why anyone would take the time to crack an MSN account at all, even if you had the leaked hotmail passwords - lest it is was someone you knew personally, and were screwing with.

Although my friend's wife DID get screwed by that hotmail leak, as her hotmail password matched her paypal password, and someone in Russia got into her paypal account that way. (There's whole villages in third world countries dedicated to this sort of thing...)

I would think it's just someone screwing with him, and é and such wouldn't protect from keyloggers or leaked passwords, so they would be pretty useless.

Besides, since é and such only prevent dictionary attacks, lkaweng would work equally well.
