Nagle's Algorithm

I was exploring on this internets and found strange things.

If you don't know what it is, wiki is my friend.

Apparently, a friend of mine believes that disabling this thing will take away all my lag issues like magic. It seems awfully sketchy to me. What do you guys think, would this actually effect my lag issues?

I believe that the game traffic on srcds and hlds is mostly UDP. Nagle's algorithm can only be applied to TCP/IP. I think disabling it will have negligible effect (if any) in Master Sword.
