Because of anti-forum stretching, you probably can't see a part of the image.

You will also need to load some textures, WADS. They are in the MS:C-directory. But don´t add too much! It should be enough if you just added mastersword.wad, ms_generic.wad and maybe ms_village.wad. Those wont include every texture but the most. You can still try to add every WAD, but I don´t recommend it.

You can also download Crow's allinone wad and use that. I've been using it and I <3 that wad.

Then they should include this WAD in the next patch, because ppl who don´t have it will be unable to play any map that uses it until they download this WAD.

Actually, mappers usually use... wadinclude? its that or something else, but it actaully puts the textures from the wad into the map file, so you don't need a wad cause you got the textures built into the map.

Yes, that is what I use. I find it easier then including .wad files in map installers/rars.

It gets even better than that; -wadinclude actually puts the used textures from used wadfiles in your map, whereas -nowadtextures also puts unused textures from used wadfiles in your map.

And on the subject of Crow's allinone.wad: could you tell me precisely which wadfiles have been embedded into this?
Main reasons being:
1) I recall at least one instance of two separate wadfiles having two separate textures that both have the same name (wall_083 or something along these lines), causing conflicts when using both wadfiles at the same time. Did you find and fix such issues?
2) I recall at least one instance of two identical textures in two separate wadfiles that both have a different name, bulking filesize. Did you find and fix such issues?
3) I'd just like to know which additional wadfiles I have to add in Hammer, if there are any.

It's been so long... I'm pretty sure I took every single wad I could get my hands on, and lumped it into one, minus duplicate textures and duplicate names.

It's the only wad I use, aside from the small aaa msc wad thothie released for brush enities.

Crow, have I ever told you how awesome you are?

Edit: How did you make allinone.wad in the first place? Wally (which I have never used)?

Yea, I think I need to update them. I was around 16 or 17 when I wrote them.
