Not secure!|Help|

How can i set my listen server to not secure , i really really cant find it i've been searshing for 1 day now but i cant find how to set it to non secure :S

Help?


Edit : But i cant join secure servrs .. so i cant start a server , thats the problem

I don't know much about myself...but load up one that is secure and read the name, and search it on google. Or that might be even a link when you load it up. Also, you might have to try this in HL2. If you can, go into a server in HL2 that is secure. I think you can find the answer there.

Or is it possible it a different program?

Also, check in your server options before you create the server.

someone tipped me off, after complaining about my VAC issue, that i should enter in
sv_lan 1
-insecure
into my server.cfg
sometimes i tend to go bit overboard, so i did this with both the "server.cgf" in the msc folder and the valve folder
i also edited the listenserver.cfg in the msc folder. changed sv_lan 0 to 1 and put -insecure under it.

this gave me the folloing results:
vac is now off
character deletions are no more
trasitions work perfectly

but now i only can play lan .. not so pplz can join :( help?

Sv_Lan 0 :S

Ey .. i fixed my server so it works with listen .. but it's only sv_lan 1 and when i type sv_lan 0 in console it dosnt show up at the server list!

maxplayers 4
sv_lan 1
-insecure
log on

Just adding -insecure to the HLDS line should be enough - should be no need to mess with sv_lan settings - is for mine anyways.
