Add that ip to your favorites, please, and tell me whether you can find it or not.

If you can, that's a new server right there. If not, tell me, and I'll work on it. Seems like im behind a firewall, but not on my own pc. :S I'm running on my buildings server, so.. I don't know if it works! But please, try :D

what type of firewall are you using? If you lower your firewall security we could probably see the server. If you are using windows firewall then it is a POS

No firewall - no routers. All wireless.

I do have an idea though. Cause we have a private server in my building. It might be protected with all kinds of firewalls making it impossible to make connections to my pc..

You don't have to add an IP to your favorites to see if you can connect, ya know. Just go into MSC, go to the console, and type "connect 10.20.20.155:27016"

My information.
If you are connecting via wireless, and it isn't a direct connection or you don't know how it is working; that guarantees that it's either a router or that "Verizon Wireless" thing you get for laptops.

If it is a router thing, the IP you enter to modify things like a router firewall is usually something along the lines of ---
Code:
192.168.X.X
The "X" digits are usually any random number; could be 0.1, or even 2.1: depends on the type of router that is in use.

If it is a business building, then the Network Administrator is the only person who can log into it (assuming he/she wasn't sloppy with the username & password); there is also the possibility that the username and the password are both "admin", or one is "admin" and the other "administrator"...

If it is that sort of thing, try getting into it & adding your computer to the DMZ list.

To find your computer's own little IP address in the router list, I will explain in text right now; if you feel you need it to be, I can post a picture-by-picture, step-by-step, tutorial for you (I've made several of those for Prodigy Gaming TSRP server recently, and they were both stickied on their forums! :p )...

Code:
1 )Go to Start->Run
2 )Type the following in the Run Prompt ->
3 )"cmd"
4 )With or without quotes, both ways are fine ->
5 )In the command prompt, type the following ->
6 )ipconfig
7 )Your computer's IP address it the first line after the DNS Suffic line, usually labeled "IP Address" *YOUR IP ADDRESS NUMERALS* ->
8 )Depending on the router type, it will say 192.168.X.10X ->
9 )The "X" digits can be any number, just see what yours says ->
10 )When viewing the DMZ list, enable it for that specific IP address ->
11 )You are all done.
Congrats if you actually followed those steps :p

Well I'm a bit of a router nerd myself. DMZ, port fowarding/triggering, static IP address, resetting everything etc etc.

Anyway point I'm making is that no matter what I do my server never whos up. It'll show like once a week for about 30 mins before vanishing again.
