lol ... u cant read... ne ways i dont know how to setup a dedicated server ... and i cant open ports the router doesnt allow me to so even if i got it up and running... i couldnt open the ports allowing me to play on it...

MSC is a bit CPU intensive, so sometimes listenservers ping over 0.

...granted, I can't even play on my own server with more than one other person on it... Even if I'm not using the host computer to do so.

High-cpu maps make the server actually run slow, which causes increase in ping, not just network issues. running on daragoth, the servers grind to a halt, down to like 5 fps. this can cause me to get as high as 300-500 ping on LAN, even by myself, and 800+ for internet players.

i can play daragoth with 3-5 internet people on my listenserver, all at about 150-220 ping...

well.. about emulation...

I'm running it in WINE, which actually stands for "WINE Is Not an Emulator"

But, emulation or not, it runs windows programs, so the results are the same
