Playing Style - Fighting with Rusties

Bored of the latest map? Solo'd it a dozen times already? Find the other maps in MS:C to be too easy and a walk in the park?

Well.

Try taking on WW1-3 using a rusty sword. I dare you.

Just about 5 minutes ago I was going through Daragoth with a regular (one handed) Axe and a Dull Shortsword chopping up Flayers. It's not good for EXP but it's a helluva lot of fun.

I'm basically suggesting that we all try that playing style; use subpar weaponry on maps that you can take on like they were nothing when you go at them regularly. Fight through foutpost with a rusty weapon (or a regular weap, like a stock Mace). I dare you 8)

Sorry That's me. Its like, I have so many spells fromKeledros that i'm not supposed to have, and I have some weapons I'm not supposed to have. But I guess that's what being in a guild is sorta for, the nice community of "sharing".

That's what I'm saying, but everyone seems to think that it's not fair that I get the GIB, Flamelick, Tork, and Orion bow and the lvl10 player doesn't.

Well, now that we're all high-level bad asses that get bored with every new map after we play it 3 or 4 times, why not use underpowered weaponry to make it more challenging? Have any of you ever seriously tried this? It's a lot of fun, actually. :|

Or, like Squirrel said, just start new characters and don't take the easy way (ie: no donations of uber weapons. Work for everything)

I have my level thirty (30) character and all I have for decent items are ->

Greater Ice Blade
Torkalath Blade
Rune Shield
Ravens Mace
Snake Staff

and one or two other semi-decents :/

Naturally, I have darkarmor too: but I still have a knights helm (aka the bucket)

I had a bucket, but then I got something less suck (they be stealin' mah buckit)

My noob (level 27) has:

Dark Armor
Gold Helm
GIB
Snake Staff

and that's about it (for rares) =\

But he's good on stats D: Started him about a week ago and I have 16 SA, 18 Axe, 15 SC, 34 Parry, 21 Blunt, and 20 everything else

I'll have you guys know I never got any rare items from anyone and solo every map i play and have
A dark helmet
Gold armor
Snake Staff
and a bunch of keledros spells
I think thts it lol
