Is it possible to change my main characters name? I really don't want to lose all my progress and I need to know if this is possible? Please let me know ^^

Well, as far as I know...

When you go to select your character, it will always be that name, but when you load the character up and you are in game you can go to console and type - name "what_ever_name_you_want_in_these_quotes" and your character will have that name in game. However, you'll have to do this every time you change maps. Not like it's a big deal to go to console to do that, as you can use the arrow keys to bring up past commands, but if you restart the game it will be lost and you'll have to retype it again. To get around that, you could bind a key to do this for you, instead of going into the console every time to change your name. Just put it in you config.cfg file in your MSC folder. For instance, you could put this in your config.cfg file...
bind "m" name "what_ever_name_you_want_in_these_quotes"
and m would be the key that changes you name. You can use any key you want, just be sure that you don't use a key that has a command already bound to it.

If Shuriken manages to reverse engineer the character encryption for sake of a referencable database, maybe I'll see about doing character name-change services. I tried to allow it through the scripts, but no such luck.

I think we may have to re-sinq our source codes if you did that, or you'd have to be very specific about the change.
