Why would backing up and formatting your computer take more than a few hours?

because after reformatting it, the fucking product key wouldnt work for activation, then i have to go and get all the updates for everything then install all of my games again then update those too....bleh

i also had to call microsoft to get a new confermation code to make the product key to work them indian ppl are assholes...

The backing up part can take some time if you choose to backup non-critical files (like songs, movies, video games) :)

Um, okay....

I usually do that within a couple of hours for a customer... and it usually involves calling Microsoft to activate the key.

They key is: 250gb usb hard drive. Holds all your crap, plus it's pretty fast. Also, Xp Pro Volume License key helps too (no activating) :p
