Ok heres a rundown of the Question i would like answers to.
1: How do i find out what drops and where?
2: What will drop even if im the only one in server?
3: What only drops with multiple people in server?
4: How does the game determine what item(s) to spawn?
5: Why is there no simple list?
6: What is it when i ask about hidden chests everyone says its a secret?

Ok heres is the reasons i ask these questions.
1: Im level 35 and i like to do solo runs to build exp but sometimes i want to find treasure just to find it...Born again treasure hunter.
2: Since i like solo running maps to find things all by my lonesome it would be nice to know what to and not to expect.
3: I would like to know if im going to join a multiple server what to expect to not get..
4: Because at this point one person says its amount of hp another says amount of ppl and another says its random and im soooooo confuzzled....
5: So i dont have to ask questions that should already be answered and probably are somewhere....
6: Ok this one is simple....enough with the its a secret im not telling you junk...if its such a big secret why does everyone but me know about it?...so yeah i would like to know which maps have secret chests and i know its a challenge however im to dang old to be looking over maps 100 times just to find a chest with 50 gold in it....

Now i dont know which quests are worth going on or which maps are worth going to.....because as of yet there is no list for quests or treasures....So maybe i would like to know a little but i havent got enough time to go through everymap 100 times checking to see what happens because by then im still 35th and some new guy is 50...exageration...So any help would be appreciated...I know that alot of people say well keep playing and you will find out the answers...however even though i have no life...i still would like A simpe list of these answers...

1-trial and error or join a server and start asking

2-anything can drop, but the spawn chance will be extremely low (like 5% for some ultra rare items)

3-same as above. except spawn chances increase

4-I think its based on their individual spawn rate percentage, and the only thing that increases weapons spawn rate is more players

5-Spoilers not allowed in the forums

6-they are being smartasses, still, I dont know what you mean they are hidden chests

Oh and ty for that that helps...but my trial and error is a little to much...lol
And no im not asking for spoilers.....if i wanted spoilers theres easier ways than asking on forums...I just want a simple list thats says the basic stuff....I mean i know by beating runegahr there is a chance for [I'm an idiot who doesn't understand what no spoilerz in the forums means]...but what else? Considering for some reason i get skipped by arti chest 90% of time unless im number one in points thats gonna take way too long to find out....I mean ive seen in another post on this forum about the arti chest in lod 4 and what it had in it...thats what i want to know....if they can post a screenshot of what is in the arti and none gets mad at em then a simple list would be just as easy...But for the other stuff ty very much i appreciated knowing that i have at least a chance to get something cool....

Spawn chances are only affected by the number of players, not by the number of hitpoints. However, some items are rigged so that they will not appear until a player with a certain number of hitpoints actually opens the chest. At level 35, this is not an issue, as you qualify for all such items.

How you got to level 35 doing solo runs, however, I'd really like to know. >_>

TY that was the most comprehensive answer and the answers have me totally convinced that there should be a simple non Surprise list for the new people...I have met many ppl online who didnt find out till just now that a Perfect Skullblade isnt a rare...well whoda thunk it....?I play 12-18 hours a day and been a member for a month and yet no matter how many times i play something else bothers me.>>HOWEVER.....My nephew started a NON FN character the other day because he hate playing with ppl he doesnt know personally...and i dont blame him hes young...now the reason i ask these questions is...what about those ppl who never ever join FN servers or play with others who know this game, do they have to learn it on there own and with a small chance ever learn enough to make the game worth playing? Some may some may not....So since im a nice guy and i like to help any who ask...I asked...Thank you all for your answers that was what i wanted to know...Yes i want to know the answers and even now though i have played a month i still no nothing other than Runegahr hits hard and treasure drops are rarer than baseball cards....and Wheres the Instruction Book that comes with all new video games.....? LOL Just because a bunch of people want to discover things on their own..which surprisingly does include me 80-90% of the time....what about those little things that im...(Too stupid to figure out) not understanding? So ty again your answers helped lots....Now to ask the obvious question....Other than playing a map 100+ Times with notepad and either luck or full server who tell the truth in item drops.....What is the minimum level to solo everything without any problems...because at this rate thats the level i need to answer my simple list question....

2: What will drop even if im the only one in server?
Depends on the map and most chances are random, just buffed by hp or "allowed" by a certain amount of players.
3: What only drops with multiple people in server?

These two are just plain false. Chance is determined by number of players, nothing else. Very few weapons have a 0 chance with less than 2 players, and none you’d be interested in at level 35.

4: How does the game determine what item(s) to spawn?
Not sure if this has ever been satisfactorily answered. The general consensus is that when a boss is triggered [or when it dies?] the server takes into account amount of players and total hp in order to calculate loot. Generally the more players the better. Interestingly there's a certain chest on helena which, when opened for a second time almost always has different loot from the first time.
Some chests will spawn more stuff in them if the first player who examines them is low in the HP department. Chest contents is determined on chest spawn, but some high end items will only display to high end players, to prevent them getting “n00b ninja’d” – but again, at level 35, this is not an issue. 600hp is the highest such trigger.

Still say there's something odd about a level 35 who says he doesn't know where anything is and always plays on a passworded server.

I never said i didn't know where stuff was....i said i wanted a simple list of stuff...If you want to quiz me in private where i wont get banned from forums for posting where some(not all) things are then go right ahead....But to make my concerns more readily understood....What pots drop and where? Can helm of the dead spawn anywhere or where if only one place? Is phoenix only attainable after a certain boss? What chests can have antidotes in them? That is what i'm wanting to know....
I am not as dumb as some ppl are thinking....I just want to know the simple things.....Is that so hard to understand?
Maybe....maybe not...
Hoe that alleviates your concern....and i only have 585 hp so does that sitll count?

That's how the game normally plays out. A person joins a server with some people and is impressed at how cool everything looks. Then they ask what all the cool items are. Then they ask where to get them. If they're given information the person normally has a good first impression and asks them to join the guild. In the guild they're twinked and power level (see nightmare thorns at level 11) and then they do runs with their high level guild members/other people the next week. Then they either complain that they level too slowly at level 35-40 since they aren't leveling nearly as fast as they did with equipment that they shouldn't have had before.

This isn't cheating. They don't know where anything is because they never really played the game. I bet that if you asked him common things about 1/2 of the low-mid level maps he wouldn't know any of it. Sure, they can tell you where the best equipment spawns and where the high level secrets are because they were shown that .

Don't try and balance the game at low-mid levels around twinked people. Think of the adventurers.

That would explain it... I think that's part of my mistake when balancing for low levels - I refuse items with my low level alias characters (actually, my main char only has two twinks, but that's personal preference, rather than balance testing). Think next time I do the level 20 run, I'll grab all the twinks I can, just to see how it goes.

It's really hard balancing an open RPG. You can't judge balance off of your current knowledge. You wouldn't know as a new player that at a certain level you should do a map for a certain item. You search around and use what you find. In this way you can't have a ladder of item progression that has big spaces where you need an item. You have to have it so at no point the game is too hard which leads to frustration. You can't base maps on just the best eq but need to take into account at least a few weapons they should get before then. MMORPGs always have leeway in equipment and very slow difficulty increases. My point is simply that it's hard to balance so you should try out different things. It would be nice to have a group of clueless noobs going through the game because it would show a lot but that's not always possible. Lots of people playing and lots of input is all you can hope for.

I've been playing with my friends as adventurers since the game came out. It isn't perfect though. Even with the difference we have I still get them equipment I think they need because they're dying too much. I''ve just found that almost every new player is horribly twinked because they have no one to play with at a low level. This causes my opinion of you balancing it around them because of how it affected my play of the game. Still, I've played "through the game" seven times or so since 1.35 or whatever pach in the old days and I just try and remark on what I find.

Ty that summed it up real good...How come im not that eloquent?
Maybe i should let you interpret for me....Then i wont sound as dumb as i am... :?:
But seriously if it hadn't been for the fact that i play 10 or so hours a day i probably wouldn't be so curious so guess it comes with the addiction...

Oh btw if i had me an FN server i wouldnt have it locked i would only have it with max 2 ppl....1 because im paranoid and 2 because only one of my friends is almost ever on at one time....lol
But when i do and i will do one day...Please feel free to join me on my server for milk and cookies....or just plain fun....

As for hidden chests and stuff? eh doesnt matter much anyway cause the only good thing is {bwahahaha im blokin joo from teh goodz]. For more info please read mah sig :3.

The chances of items appearing increase the more players there are. This means that playing Lodagond-1 looking for an AoB isn't necessarily going to get you anywhere. That's why you see 8 people on Lodagond-1 rather than 1.

Yes true...but i still wish to be able to solo any level and beat any boss and be rewarded to....I may have the Kindness and naivety of Luke Skywalker yet i want the Money like Han Solo.....Still alas its a game and at least in the next 20 years or so i may actually know everything about it....but i better hold my breath...
