yeahh too bad that version doesnt work properly i'm using version 0.5 but i still have that menu. interesting though, MS started with classes. Sadly though i started playing when the non class based version started so i have to experience it all by myself -.-. the pickpock skill is cool though =D easy to get money when you keep failing at skinning rats and boars.

MS "classes" have worked the same way as they do now since 1.0... Save for back when they didn't have names... Under the version you're playing there, the core class system should be the same as now (meaningless title names based on skill), save there's no magic titles, for there be no magic.

Sadly, you canna put little animated AVI's in your opening title screens anymore - but I thought the OC painted tower looked better than the old ripped ray render.

no, the version im playing has you choose either warrior, rouge , or ranger.

each one gives you different weapon skills. i can take more screens if wanted?

im playing 0.5 before 1.0.

Haha, and here i thought Thothie knew everything about MS's past, guess i was wrong!

Anyways, the quality in both menus is different, yes, one can clearly see that the one in MS is outdated, but the use of colors in it, plus the view itself is much better imo. If it had the same quality as the one we have now, it would be something to stare at...

The animated things are there to make people go derp on the menu and forget about things anyways, it's just that i would take the old "view" over the newest one, mostly because it's appealing to my eyes.

Speaking of which... is there any easy way to change the background? I would like to do that myself with screenshots if possible, but i got no clue what to do and i think ceriux already did this before a few years ago with edana pics.
