Server can't connect to FN? Maybe you need to update!

You need to update to MAY2010a (or later) to continue to host servers for [FN] characters:
http://www.msremake.com/download.php

[FN] will no longer accept connections from servers that are out of date.

This eliminates the "omg I lost an item cuz I joined a dated server!" - in addition to many other issues.

There are many cheats that involve using older MS.DLL, SC.DLLs. Many of these make the so-called "mega-sploit" look no more nasty an exploit than jumping on a monsters head. Tis why I laugh at that name so hard, because I know what some other characters I've deleted have actually been doing: spawning items at will, getting god mode, healing at will. And many other exploits and developer commands that were integrated into previous DLL's that people discovered either on their own, or from the various distributed sources.

Further you cannot "mix and match" MS.DLL's and SC.DLL's from JUN2007a on, which puts and end to a great number of nasty cheats when combined with this.

I intend to get the JUN2007a patch out within the next six hours or so. So be prepared. I will not make the change to FN until it is the betapack is fully propagated and my server is up and running it.

To host on FN that's true. I shall remove the link, as it's not going to help any other server types either, at this point. You'd more or less have to re-install MSC 1.0 if the betapack doesn't work for you.

FN will be shutting down for a bit very soon while I update all the FN instances. It'll likely be a while longer still before the servers start upgrading and can connect again. (Not to mention all you guys upgrade, yadda yadda)
