I got all the way to the part where i climb down some web and therse a room with bunch of spiders and theres a wall blocked by a spider web with a green spider on the other side. How do u open the spider web wall?

Playing with the betapack? I don't think that web ever breaks in the 1.0

im pretty sure i installed the april beta pack thing. lol and im still atking it :/

I can tell ye it has 500hp, if it's patched right. Check the modified date on the BSP, it should be whenever you installed the betapack.

hmm.. i get the feeling that i didn't patch it right. what do u mean by bsp? what i did was dl the ms continued on the site and dled the patch and installed both. On steam it still says MS 1.0 not sure if its supposed to or not. If i reinstalled it, will be saved chars be gone?? do i have to save the folder that holds the data?

The .bsp is the map file. You can check it in your map folders (you will probably have to Right Click-> Properties to find it).

You may try a reinstall, but before that, go ingame and type "betadate" in console and post what it says. If you do reinstall, it SHOULDN'T erase the characters, but you can back them up if you feel unsafe. It's best to connect your server to the central network for characters instead of using ones saved on your computer.

ah.. i looked the sfor bsp file thing and it says august 2005 LOL i guess thats the old one. okay now it says april thanks for all the help guys

hmm i thought u keeep attackign the spiders untill the web auto breaks

Sometimes it don't due to the fireallperish bug. New versions of the map allow you to break the web, in case of that eventuality.

im having the same problem. the web just isnt breaking ive hit it for like 10 mins witha granite mace and its not breaking. i have the latest patch installed. can someone help me with this?
