okay im thinking bout buying a shoutcast server for people to listen to music ingame while they play. think it will be a good idear or terrible?

Everyone can listen to whatever they want and wont be forced to listen to some emo crap or some hardcore rock.

true but do you think you have enough bandwidth to stream the music with others? If you are doing it from a personal computer, you could probably hold about 4 people the most. if you go over 4 people then the music will skip or sound like shit.

I'd rather not be listening to two tracks at the same time. The reason you shouldn't do this: msc has music already. Go to Edana and listen. It's quite relaxing.

/agree with Jelly. I quite like the music in the game, and don't want to listen to some music that doesn't even fit with it (if I ever play MS:C again )

I disagree simply because there are people that listen to music that I hate so much....i only listen to rock....now i garuntee there are plenty of people that hate my music and listen to rap or some crap like that

sometime when you pay cheaper product. you don't get much as the more expensive product. My suggestion is research the product and try find something better.

When I had a co-location. I had 4 computers on their site in Texas. It was good at first. The ping was great, connection, customer support, and as they grow. it become crappy and the ping would rise up to 100. I was able to host 10 TFC and CS server at once on all 4 computers without a lag problem.

so I switch to another location in Maryland which was a lot better for cheaper amount than what I paid for. The shipping cost is a bitch! Anyway different companies provide different things. Some companies will allow streaming music, shell account, server hosting. but sometime on the fine line after you purchase them. there will be a TOA that tells you not to use them. Ask all the questions you need first before purchasing them. If you really want to do something like this, then see if FIOs is available in your area. Those connection are good and extremely fast!

You said you have 6 computers. Leave the computers at home and get FIOs! you may pay like 40 dollars to 80 a month but it is worth it! When I move to TN, I will get the 30 days FIOs trial to see if I like the product or not. I heard it is 20mbs up there.
