I voted "no" to their being retarded... but I should have voted yes.
I remember checking to see if Deus Ex: Invisible War was within the range of my crapper FX5200, and it gave me a pass on all of the *recommended* stuff... nothing was below requirements it said... then I installed it, and it ran like shit on the absolute lowest settings even... I know it wasn't my CPU or RAM, since I have a decent gig of RAM & dual core (~2.2GHz per core)... and I can play Battlefield Vietnam with settings blasted... and Half-Life 2 with *most* settings blasted
I vote yes because your card does everything it needs to in order to run it. Only thing it doesn't have vs the card the pointed it out is more pipelines.
even then, the game took so long to develop it has a serious amount of give when it comes to computer types, heck I could run it on my computer with its dual 6600GT and 3500+ AMD 64 computer pretty well just because of all the options it has for video.
Y'know what the funny thing is? If I set every single detail except for AA and texture detail (medium) on maximum (including dynamic lighting/shadowing, motion blur, and texture detail) I get 25 - 60 FPS.
So I'm quite close to maxing everything out.
And yeah, the amount of pipelines and the frequencies of my memory/core probably aren't high enough to reach the recommended requirements.
Or it's the fact that I have a 7800 series card and not a 7900 series card, as The Man In Black pointed out
