Well, I'm completely unable to play MS:C at the moment. If I try to connect to a server I either get stuck at Parsing or get "cl: Error (CLIENT): Error: CHud::VidInit --> MS Vid_Initialization - pList Loop" in console and a popup telling me it's having problems with my Steam Ticket.

When I try to make my own server I get LOAD-ERRORs everytime, then I eventually get kicked for mah ticket again. I checked console and I'm getting a bunch of metamod spam (unrelated, I think).

I've restarted Steam several times, looked for clientregistry and can't find it, so I assume it's already deleted, tried NS instead of MS:C (didn't get kicked from my server [didn't stay around long, though], but got kicked from Jiggly's), tried re-installing MS:C. I'm going to restart my computer in a sec, but if that doesn't do anything, I'm out of ideas.

This might work, delete your ClientRegistry.blob in your steam folder and restart steam.

I take it ye have tried:
- Actually logging out of the account (not just rebooting)
- Reinstalling Steam (ie. in the same folder)
- Removing all Steam files aside from game installs, and reinstalling
(ie. all files/folders except Steam\SteamApps\)
- Removing all GCF files and reinstalling
- Sacrificing at least three fresh babies to Gabe Newell
- Making sure the computer is plugged in.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Plug IN the computer! It all makes sense now!

Meh, I'll just be nabbing Windows Wink from Squirrel today and formatting my comp. I've needed to do it for awhile, so I may as well do it now. To the finish-backing-up-all-my-things-to-my-portable-hard-drive mobile!

Edit: Steam ticket is working again. I suppose I had to wait for the next business day for the babies. Though, I still get LOAD-ERROR's on my own server :|
