Steam Validation Rejected?

Steam Validation Rejected? What's with that. I tried to join a server but i get box saying "Steam Validation Rejected" Please Help.

Logout Steam, or even quit it, then try again.

This is pretty common and it usually is fixed by closing the game and restarting.

This refers too when you join a Steam Listen Server and you get this error...

Also, Steam tend too forget you logged into there systems... Remember, we all pass through Steam's systems when using our Steam accounts... While we play on servers for our Steam games (I play Natural Selection and Empires Beta, and also MS:C)... Sometimes, steam's systems get a little laggy, and forgets I logged into my Steam account. When I try too rejoin the server, I get a lot of error's... Like, Steam Ticket things and etc...

This also was covered on Steam's support section, but the best and most wise option was too log out of Steam, and wait for it too eventually go away.


It is a bummer, and a real drain on a good game day... But logging out of Steam and then trying too log back in seems too help 99.9% of the time... If anything, it takes a little longer too resolve this issue...

however, it is not on the server's end (in this I mean the person hosting the MS:C server) but rather on the end of Steam's Authentication servers...
