So I started watching it and I only saw a dumb face who was 'singing' the song. This was all very boring so I closed the screen. Was anything cool supposed to happen that would make it worth my time to actually view it in its entirity?

Yes. I didn't think it would be interesting at first (given the decline of VGCats as of late), but it turned out to be an amusing music video.
