I lag horribly using opengl on some maps (mostly town maps) and it gets really annoying. Is there a possibility that there will be D3D support?

Sadly, no. :(

We've yet to have a coder that can figure out what Dogg did to make the game require OpenGL and make it all optional. :oldcry:

Please do. :\ I suspect it'll be key for MSC's longevity - OpenGL maybe axed completely in the next version of Windoze.

could always ask on inside3d.com... its generally a quake 1 community but i'v been snapped at by claiming it was. but it's more of a coders community. MH is a very talented coder, might request help/advice from him specifically?
