Actually i was looking for a solution that lets me use the brightness adjuster again, I dont want to go to the Nvidia setting each time I want to change it.
You have a software based brightness adjuster? (Jeeze, why are all buttons software buttons these days?)
If you have a special button on your keyboard that adjusts brightness, then yer down to reinstalling your keyboard drivers, rather than your vid card drivers.
If we're talking a laptop brightness setting, that usually changes the flow of powah to the monitor to conserve batteries. If this be the case, neither graphics nor keyboard drivers are the issue, but you may need to look into the power management software for your laptop, or changing the windows power setting schemes to again allow unlocking the brightness levels while the laptop is plugged in, etc.
