It may just do to require manual authentication again, for awhile. Tis true though, when the boards are slow, the damned bots are neigh impossible to deal with.

Lord K informs me that the phpbb 3.0 Captcha code has been h4xed, hence the bot invasion. He's on the case, though it may take some time.

*sigh* I just don't see how the effort to create this plague of bots can possibly turn any profit - even taking into account that a single infected server can push out millions of these bloody posts a day.
