i used to play TSRP, but it always took way too long to do anything...and admins were never around on any servers - so i ended up getting money from other players for killing people pissing them off :roll:

and then claiming that i couldn't be banned for DMing because i was a hitman 8)

Actually, Zackscity pisses me off... the admins there hate me unreasonably and stole my AIM account using information gained through amx_regname.

There a bunch of pricks, and the plugins they use are overly simple to make (see Jason's server, as a joke he replicates everything zackscity does just to show off how easy it is).

Good servers for TSRP are:
A) Vac Secured
B) Have a Forums
C) Clear, level headed admins
D) The owner of the server rarely speaks to people, hence doesn't get involved and personal in any matter

Zackscity doesn't have any of those, exluding the forums part. But I still like to play there

I would be:
Nathan 'Net' Clipso
And under that server I am scrutinized for my slightest screw-up, yet abandoned by the admins should somebody be attacking me -_-

Probably because I royally pissed off their server provider last year around November after they stole my AIM account (which was uncalled for)... sent a message to their provider mentioning what they did & how they did it... nobody likes illegal things (since it broke the privacy contract zackscity had with that provider, by using a password obtained from me through the provider to steal my AIM account; WHICH I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN BACK).

Hahah MiB, you probably RP just to test peoples' nerves... which is effectively doing it to be an ass...

I highly recommend against zackscity though, because the admins there are pathological liars who obsess day in & day out with finding some place to fight with me (ask BioRage, they followed me to http://www.precisionrp.org just to cause shit)....

They also stole my AIM account late November of last year, those bastards! Using information I supplied to them that had been guaranteed private by a box I'd checked off after reading... load of shit they do that without penalty... to steal my AIM.

Most of the RP people just annoy me though. They kill me, too, when I'm trying to do things, so I get a barret rifle and sit on a roof and get payback...infinite times.

I used to be the police chief on this one server (DONT ASK HOW THAT HAPPENED! WELL MAYBE!)

And so I had a nice supply of weapons which i planned to equip my swat team with... Occasionally I would... mostly to people who are new (j00 don't belong in this town boy!) or people who were assholes... (and on occasion just people in general!)

Well I would have keys bound to change my model and name =P and I would change to something in dark colors with a skimask or something... and I would snipe from the rooftops w/ a silencer... or get on top of a tree and hide inside the leaves and shoost people when they weren't looking... It was funny bc I would only shoot them enough for them to start typing IN ALL CAPS! but not enough to kills them so if an admin was on could ban me for DMing =P

Prolly use the Mp5SD due to low damage

Oh! and I would always change to "Solid Snake" and everyone else(other regulars) had some kind of Super Hero Alter ego =P

TSRP annoyed me the second I tried it... So I made my own, new form of RP server, which was very popular at the time, alas do to my connection speed at the time I could only support 6 people with an average ping of 200. Made DMing hard to do, but the aliens (half-life monsters) where still able to be hit just fine.

I think awhile ago I said something about brining it back, well I so didn't and I offer the chance again, this time my server has a much more bandwidth, if you hadn't noticed already... It would mean brining the MS:C server down but I could show you the real zombie invasion server, that lots of people loved! I love ripper, best admin tool ever.

And things have changed, most of the abusive admins are gone.

Also I highly doubt we hacked your aim account, and if "we" did then it be your fault for putting int he same password, now wouldn't it :O!.

the plug-in I use was made by bugblatt, he made it ages ago for adminmod, and well its a very much obsolete plugin. However I have the last version he created and its very stable and a very nice plugin, the snark interface is rather fun. Gives admins the power to shoot people with snarks or any other HL1 monster I want.

I tend to never use the beaten path for the things I use, my server runs AMX and admin mod thats how odd I am! Strange enough my server never crashed

But as to Zackscity; yes they still have poor admins. If a new guy joins, and stunts even once, they perma-ban him.

I'll admit that what they did on their forums was funny though, that one Slim guy gets a special attachment to his name if you type it... it auto fills "That Faggot" before his name if you type it anywhere

Lol TSRP... I used to play that back in the ccity2 days but now its all econ whores with their fancy harbu and shitty plugins the server owners tried to make thinking it would make their server better, but they really add nothing to the role-play. I used to play on Rfiles before it went to shit. My name was David Wain, probably never heard of me. I made a few plugins for TSRP, the second carmod is my most notable.

Oh and I played zackcity once... probably one of the worst servers... There was like 200 unneeded items named after the admins and crap. Pretty sure I crashed the econ there, I did it to a lot of servers. All you got to do is get about 7 pages of items (was really easy on zackcity because they had so many low priced items). Once you get to the 6th page your items are infinite and once you hit the 7th whenever somebody tries to trade an item or buy an item the server crashes. Really easy to fix t hough.

I may go about making my items infinite... albeit I hosted once before too...

My server was called "Charlie & Nathan's TSRP"... my RP name being Nathan 'Net' Clipso, and the guy who helped manage my server while I slept (since I hosted an HLDS right off my computer, 11 players max) was Charlie something or other... he disappeared or something so I don't bother hosting it anymore

Point being; while hosting, and spawning items on myself, I discovered that the items become infinite if you just spawn them in bulk; like 10k of each item, one page's worth, & it'd never go down (trust me, I tested via giving other people lumps of 5k of the same item, twenty times over... course amx_destroyitems was helpful so they wouldn't spam the given items)

Navicat isn't your SQL its just a program that reads your SQL and displays it in a nice GUI. Just get SQLyog instead, its free.

EDIT: If your saying you payed for the meck source thats really sad, because its been out for like a year.

Mecklenburg maps are kinda shitteh... every time somebody makes a Meck map, they end up being assholes & make a button that'll crash the server, or give them some sort of advantage in-game that only they know about -_-

Wanna know a fun map? Iburgcity... even though I have seen/found a hidden button there that is t3h l@/\/\3r... it is still a fun map

Course... meck has more eye-candy & is bigger... it is also too dark!

Shuriken do you really?? If you have him on AIM or something... remind him to NOT try to talk with "dNaNetrogor"... that AIM account of mine was hijacked months ago

If I could just remember the damned forums URL I used to use for my server (yes, I had my own forums), I would go there & post... see about rallying those turds together... (them turds being the small community of twenty or so faithful players who whored my server on TSRP constantly)
