Wands(or staffs)

Could we get some future items that are strictly leveling a specific magic category? I suppose snake staff counts for affliction but it really doesn't do a good job at it. This goes again't how I think but we could steal some staffs from Wizard Wars(I would make some myself but I am busy with mapping atm).

For example,


We could use the Pyromancer's staff and it could shoot a fire dart as if it where a semi-automatic pistol(left click) and a shoot a fireball with the right click (with a short cooldown however).

It would be completely stupid not to steal all of the staffs and all of the wizard models from Wizard Wars. They would make for perfect weapons and perfect NPCs. There is also little reason not to steal the spells that accompany the rods.

Becuase There are only so many models we can has, and its not going anywhere so if the need comes, there it is.

I was under the impression the model limit had been effectively bypassed?

lolno....at least, not that I know of.

...and no, we've not eliminated the model limit. Ya more or less have to consolidate any additional models into existing ones, and new bone/animation sets make that more complicated. There's also a limit to the number of bones and textures you can stick into one model until it explodes.

Got concepts and models for magic staves on the backburner pending animations actually being added to the current polearms set.
