Robert Stoneman is Steinmann, a player who enjoys G-mod server life, building, creating, and having fun with other player's. Being a part of the PHW community, he has met alot of friends online playing in Gmod servers from role play to LUA gamed servers. But on one late day on MJ's serious builders only server, the server begins to lag, he finds out it's not just the server he is in... Its everywhere... and the lag spikes are coming from the new players; GMod 9.0.4 Servers... Moments later during the game, Steinmann and the other players notice a mess of contraptions in the middle of the map, when strangely fog appears. Players gather around this mess and what is seen and what arises from that mess...will change the servers forever. Before anyone can react, it removes everything in sight. An ordinary server game has suddenly become the most extraordinary event of gmod - the first strike in a catastrophic mingebag attack on every gmod server.

Steinmann rushes back to his contraption, where later on he meets a server admin (Ben Stoneman) it will embark them on a journey that will take them Across the destroyed servers of role play and general servers all effected by this merciless new enemy, where they become caught in the Desperate tide of players fleeing servers.

But no matter were they run, there is no safety, no refuge only Steinmann's unconquerable will to get to his friends and not let the new players crash him or the servers... Will he make it time before the servers crash...

Anyone else waiting for this to be released? It sounds pretty good and if you want to see trailers of it, go on youtube and search "War of the Servers." I have just read here http://www.garrysmod.com/ that it is going to be released on the 24th!!!!

Any comments?

I highly doubt it is going to be a let down. I like how the voice acting is great. It's the best voice acting I've heard for something like this.

Piffle, J-M, I make a comic using G-mod :p

And though War of the Servers looks great, I say Blah to it. Takes 3 friggin' years to make it...reminds me of my editor, he takes two months to edit 20 pictures. >___>

I hate G-Mod.
Any, you know, logical reasons for that...
Do you have any idea what kind of horror G-Mod spawned?
Tons of kids posing Alyx and the G-Man in sex poses and whatnot, trying to be funny. Also, the G-Mod forums (Facepunch forums?) are like: you come in, say hi, and get banned.

And most importantly: I think G-Mod is boring as fuck.

G-Mod can also be a great stress releaser.
Join a server, make it look like your doing something constructive, spawn a bunch of barrels above someone elses work (catch an freeze so you don't ruin your surprise) and attach a balloon to each one and finally, move your breakable project over to your targets work-of-art to show off yours (And to make yourself look simi-innocent) and remove balloons :)

I usually make it a crappy wooden car and make sure the server has more than 4 players.

Maybe because it's against forum rules to make a thread saying hi, or that it's your first post, or signing your posts, or having a sig. You probably broke all of those.

Oh, and how is playing a hl1 rpg grinder not as boring as doing practically anything you want that the source engine can handle?
