Why can't players use the best staff in the game? The one the elf wizard leader outside big scary place has? You know, the one whose chin moves really funnily. I think letting players have that weapon would be pretty awesome.

I know... i want that thing but there aren't many options to balance it if it was to be released. >_>
Guess it would have to be end-game material or simply lock the freaking beam to one target untill it dies, that is, if the staff was to work like the elves use (which i highly doubt). Also the fire mace + fire shield + storm axe are also good looking, easier to balance too.
Also i think beams won't work the sameway npcs use them, they have aimhack or some sorts, so yeah... i'm guessing if we would have a staff like that, it would either have to lock-on target or we would have to aim ourselves, each side with their ups and downs.
