Where do all the level 40s come from?

Wow, takes me two years of bloody hard work to get my lvl 40 and people think I hack just because I hardly play. It's ridiculous. I think you people are getting too paranoid. I've seen people reach lvl 40 in less than half a year.

I never said it was wrong to level parry, so long as your there leveling it. But when you just leave your character somewhere for EIGHTEEN HOURS thats abusive. He probably just turned his monitor off and walked away, you shouldn't be able to level without actually playing the game thats the problem here.

(In other games sense) So I can't walk away from my computer and sell my loots and rare for 8 hours? //Ragnarok Online | Dofus and those games with vendors. Making money is just as important as leveling up. I don't see how nando can survive for 18 hours of anything like Atholo without coming back to his computer to see if he died or fall into a pit. unless he put up a relocation stone in the corner visible to a boss. I'd think he loses more exp then gaining unless it's a pit.

Edit: Actually I don't really care if anyone has a title of 30+ because if you think of it, it's only 2 Highest skill divided or whatever to make the level. It doesn't mean that they're "as" strong.

Edit AGAIN: When people starts cheating to instantly get tons levels out of nowhere is when I would worry.

That has absolutely nothing to do with leveling while away from the computer. That game made a system for being able to sell things while AFK and therefore it is legitimate. Leveling up while afk, just think about the concept for 2 seconds, is entirely abusive. Leveling without actually playing the game, how is that ok?

Just for parry in this case: I think it is, because you have to be "hit" and successfully parry to level it up. If you're letting stuff knock you around for exp, you might aswell go watch T.V because it takes a long time anyway.

My solution: In order to gain parry exp, you'll need to have a shield. With the shield alone you have chances to deflect. When you use the shield, you will put up the shield. Once the shield is up it will reduce damage taken AND set a "block" rate at high for 5 seconds. Every time you successfully block you will gain parry exp. After 5 seconds the shield goes down and you cannot hold left click for this to continuously put up a shield. During 5 seconds of putting the shield up, the player can click again to let down their shield. Using a macro to do this is cheating.

If people play legimately they won't use macro and have to be active to put their shields up and therefor getting parry exp.

Solution #2: If a player does not press any key for 2 minutes, he'll be marked AFK and no EXP can pass through. This negates console commands like +attack and such.

You can't fully blame the people that go AFK and level parry, since it's the game's fault for it giving us a non-active way to gain parry exp.

Actually I personally think that leveling parry in any way is alright... just not for 18 hours straight... How I level my parry is i sit infront of my computer and burn my eyeballs while holing my left mosue button infront of some freakishly speedy attackers or some archers for that matter. Shuriken doesnt cheat as far as i know hes well... kind and really works for his levels.
