Thothie said:I'm curious as to how long it will take me to solo Voldar and Maldora, so that's why I must ask: are they supposed to be hard bosses? How hard are they compared to, say, Demonicus?
Voldar, I suspect, will be a cakewalk for you... Especially at the moment, since everyone is immune to his drunk poison attacks. He'll probably be twice as hard after I fix that, but still far too weak to tango with a level 40 - he's setup for level 25'ish, all in all (20'sh, sans his poison)... He's still entertaining though, has some fun little tricks. Demonicus would pwn him.
The Fragment of Maldora might give you a run for your money, he has a lot of tricks and a ton of immunities, good backup, and you are forced to face him in a very restricted space. Still, he too is not really designed with level 40 in mind, more 30'ish. He's fiendish enough that ye may have to think up some strategies for him. If I were to place him in Demonicus in a room together, Demonicus wouldn't stand a chance. (Although I'd be curious to see what would happen if Demonicus used his mortal kombat move while Maldora used his repel spells.)
This is just the fragment, mind you. The full Maldora, to first appear on Crow's new skycastle map, will, hopefully, give characters leveled 40-50 a headache. This one, however, gives you some clue as to the basic combat style to expect from him.
In anycase, I sent my work to Replica - I think he wants a bit more done to it, so the map may get delayed just a tad more.
Skycastle2 will be fking awesome. Can't wait to see full Maldora. Nashalrath and skycastle2, will probably be added to my favorite map list. Frodo, you've been doing alot of work, (Offtopic) When will badlands be released?! I must be pwned by valsul
