Well, given that Shad_Palace rates higher (omitting Edana from the list), I dun think difficulty is much of a factor.

They both run just as easily (if you mean by load)... If you mean by run time - the gauntlet section of Aluhandra2 takes less time than The_Keep, as The_Keep stops you in more places. But if you do both the Gauntlet and the Hunting section in Aluhandra2, then it'd probably go to The_Keep.

Somewhere over the rainbow.
I know I've run The_Keep my fair share of times, even through my miniscule time spent playing.

We need statistic to figure out shad palace and the_keep gets played more?
How about taking our times and think what good loot we find on those two maps?

Yeah, those maps definitely get played more often because of the loot that is on them, not because linear game play is preferred by the player base. They are both fantastic maps in their own right, though.

i don't run the_keep for loot :oldshock:
Actually it's a map i can solo ( one of the few :D ) and enjoy with my low level/hp without having to fear the death to much. Same goes for dragooncaves, i mostly play because of the fun and care for the loot later on ;)

The_Keep is, statistically, the fourth most popular map on all the RKS servers over the past three months.

Aluhandra2 is in 18th place, by comparison.
Out of curiosity, can you guess what the cause is for this...?

Due to a PC failure i had to reformat and everything i worked on is gone. I'm not giving up the map and will redo everything when i got time. Possible after the next week and after i looked into the code stuff. ;)

If i had such stuff yes, i usually backup my stuff trough burning it on a dvd but it was sudden and it did'nt boot anymore.

Normally i know when i format but all the data on it was screwed.

Very rarely does a hard drive fail so totally that no data is recoverable - especially if you managed to format the drive. Assuming you didn't do a low-level format, look into data recovery software, it can likely recover your work.

Sadly, I've no good free ones I can recommend off hand, but there are lots out there - check cnet downloads. If you find a demo that'll work, but wont allow you to recover without spending buko bucks, I suggest setting sails. (On that search, I notice R-Studio, which is one I use often, though it can be slow - might wind up letting the drive spin for a night.)

Data recovery wouldn't work cause the hdd the map was on is broken. PC doesn't recognize it anymore. (It wont show in the POST screen) I don't even know how it's even possible that it could have affected my drive where windows was installed on but it gets old anyways. My PC is like MSC, stuff happens which shouldn't happen.

R-Studio and several other of the data recovery programs linked can recover files from a drive that fails to post. If it still spins up, there is still hope. Otherwise yer down to funky things that involve soldering irons.

Hook it up as a secondary drive, run the data recovery software, and pray to the tech gods.

Would be the same problem, PC is stuck on POST cause it tries to read the hdd or something, resulting in hours of waiting.

Yeah, a non-posting drive can result in hours of wait time, even when extracting data. Put up with the hours of wait time once, or place the drive in a USB enclosure, and connect it before launching the data recovery software. That'll at least save you the initial wait time. The recovery process itself may need to run all night as well. (As I've said elsewhere, USB enclosures are fairly cheap, and you can even return them when you're done with them, though it's kinda nice to have one around.)

Take it from someone who's spent a lot of time recovering data from dead drives, and gotten good money from it. Hell, I once even extracted data from a USB stick that had been ran over by a car. ><
