how come we never had any weapons that add a plus to their stats? i mean there are so few items in-game. i would love to have a rusty axe +1! lol it would be a way to add more items into the game while reusing content we already have.

I am opposed to calling anything 'rusty axe +1' but I am in favor of reusing the generic models so that there is always a generic weapon for you to buy for all levels.

the +# would add to the item though. if you want a new generic item thats supposed to be completely different from the original sword i think it would be lame to reuse the model. i think things like that ruin games for me. makes them boring, something clicks in my head and goes ... wow thats lame... kinda makes this boring.

if it was im sorry. but weapon variety esp at low lvls needs to happen! its always exciting to get a new weapon even if its in this form.

who said it would work with items who are already well off? why not simple weapons only? so it adds to the amount of simple items we have , yet still gives something special and not over the top?

Let's even take it all the way and recolor random parts of each weapon pertaining to the random stats it gains! Yay Diablo 2! Yay recolouring! Yay!
