If you all really want a stable server, I would suggest setting up a paypal account so forum member can donate. A dollar or two from each member would be plenty enough to rent a stable Half-Life server. If you find the right supplier, you can rent one for about twenty five dollars and up.

Get some people to send you a buck or two at a time till you have enough, then use the almighty google to find a good company to rent a server from. Or ask around, I've never rented one myself, so I can't make any recomendations.
