Wanted was a great mod in my opinion. Looked at this model, but I can't remember if it's the cactus in Wanted and I'm not going to bother downloading the mod again just to check.

Re: AWESOME

Wanted is the 3rd best Half-Life singleplayer mod I have ever played. It's downright amazing.

Also, Frodo, if you're going to make a new map, it should at least look just as good as the_keep
But I trust that won't be a problem for you

Re: AWESOME

I have played loads of HL1 mods but I don't think I've heard of wanted. I'll google it and see but it doesn't ring a bell.

Keep up the good work mappers. Map releases tend to bring people back.

Re: AWESOME

Make sure no brush is near the edge of the map again please. The slowdown in the basement in the_keep is just horrible

Re: AWESOME

The only brushes near the map edge on The Keep are in the boss chamber - and generally that doesn't cause slow-down. There's some stuff off-grid (or on 1x1 grid) here and there though, and that does. Judging by his latest map fragments, however, Littlefrodo has learned from this experience.

Re: AWESOME

So, Frodo, you're making the Alundra (or something) desert are you?
If I recall correctly, Maldora's fortress acces is supposed to be beyond that desert, or so the fragment says. That could make the Lodagond series accessible via some adventuring instead of votemapping.

If you're not making that desert then just ignore me .
Anyway, these screenshots looks great!

Re: AWESOME, Aluhandra Desert?

Yes Aluhandra Desert! but that’s up to everyone to decide, because I dunno how it shall look like. There will be big outdoors in canyon style and some cave and cave dungeons. This map will maybe lead to the Shahaddar Orc Palace?. On this map Thothie was thinking of some extra-huge beasties, like the fire lizard, and some over-sized scorpions in the larger open areas, combined with some wandering Shahaddar Orcs, and a snake cult with I really agreed on!

Later i will upload some new pictures on my current work

Re: AWESOME, Aluhandra Desert?

Hey Frodo, I think that replica might be working on this map, although he doesn't post progress and whathaveyou...You might wanna check with him and see if he is finishing, or if he wants to pass it on to you.

Re: AWESOME, Aluhandra Desert?

I've not heard anything from Replica on the subject, but there's also nothing saying the map can't be in two parts. (ie. ye could stick the maps together). Only sticky bit is ye'd have to decide between ye which one of you was doing the trans to Shad Palace.
