Yeah yeah, this happens every so often, I'm used to it. Knew it was coming years ago, had my cry then. Am old though, it's true, might be the last time... But by then you'll just see me as a passing storm.

Good to see the darker digital shadows are doing well though.

Should we bump a Thothie appreciation thead?

People have their bitches and gripes about patch changes and some game design elements, sure. But the bottom line is you hosted content, worked countless hours behind the scenes, and laid a foundation for the most unique+well-presented mod in the Half-Life community (I am biased though).

The process by which you brought the mod to life is cyclical. From the ashes and inspirations of many a forgotten developer, you brought forward life and an eye towards attention to detail + quality for what resources you had. Again, bitches and gripes in the execution of this, but that is a small wavering of the fire that is this mod's roaring heart. Many have came and went through the years, and even if some are bitter, we are ALL better for it.

You can see this cyclical process in the community already forming. It had gathered some momentum in the past with Source, but given enough time and talent (no shortage of talent in this place) something will eventually coalesce and bear fruit.

From :Continued to MS:S, MS:U, MS:R and probably countless others, if there is a chatroom on the internet where MasterSword nerds can gather; we will #1: Argue, and also post about conversions and remakes! It is built into the history of this mod, and surely its future as a game or perhaps a standalone package.

So, thank you for some of the best gaming memories I have, sincerely.
