Bug: Holding the +use key slows you to a crawl and makes it barely impossible for you to get moved around.

I never thought this was a bug myself. I wouldn't want to see it removed because it makes difficult jumping puzzles easier. I'd have a much tougher time with the bcastle puzzle if I didn't have +use to stop my momentum.

Your client only has 1005 edicts - the server has 1500, thus eventually, *poof*.

Got a couple things to report here.

The poison cloud spell's lingering clouds do not poison enemies, the initial impact of the spell will damage and poison enemies but it will not poison any enemies that walk into the cloud later.
The steam crossbow will very often fire a shot when you select something with the cycle weapon/spell/ammo commands.
The transition point to tundra in ms_snow spawns you in tundra at the boat instead of on the other side of the mines. Using the ms_snow transition at shender_east will spawn you in the tunnel that leads to tundra. Interestingly though, bringing your character to the ms_snow transition point in shender_east then using votemap to go to tundra will spawn you in where ms_snow is supposed to take you, the other side of the mine. Also, touching the dmines transition point while in tundra will set your spawn on the boat, but a new map is going there anyways in the next patch if I'm not mistaken?

Edit: Just remembered another; the unholy blade's dark DoT it applies with the shield doesn't halve enemy damage output.
Edit two electric boogaloo: The icremental/partial charge damage increase does not work with the phlames staff melee. I would guess that this is the same for the ice staff, but I cant test that since I don't have mine anymore.

Will examine. edit: Think GreatGuys fixed this in the alpha - but I think he also broke the Lightning Storm move option in his efforts, which I need to look into.

Code side issue in that it doesn't provide a delay between selection and firing. Will see if I can fix, but no promises.

[transition bugs]
Will look into some of those. Where you end up after a votemap may vary with the last transition you touched.

The Unholy Blade uses Shadowflames not Defile.

Wouldn't be possible to make the Phlame's staff do so, as the attack is external to the standard system. I think the Ice Staff's melee is in the same boat. Partial charges don't affect projectile weapons, beyond accuracy, and the accuracy is already 100% - though the Ice Staff should give you a semi-guided bolt on the second charge, and the Phlames staff has varying abilities at different charge levels.

Sometimes shields will get stuck in their blocking state while stored, making it so you cannot attack with other weapons until you pull the shield out again and lower it. Seems to happen mostly when using hotkeys to switch between weapons or spells. Also the Urdulian shield's speed debuff stacks up if you die while using it or when put into containers.

Slight visual thing but could the new staff models please not be held right at the bottom by players in third person? Every other character holds their staves properly, and even the first person models hold them correctly. Ice staff is the only one that looks proper atm.

Edit: Was just using the Ice staff now and the first charge was targeting a poison cloud that a terror fiend left behind.

Maybe I can get a modeler on that - those are hard to align world models on.

I'll also see if I can give the ice staff target validity awareness.

F-shards holy wave healed a bear on idemarks that was attacking the same animated armor as me lol

Ugh... Yeah... Think the intent was to make the bears not attack until attacked... I suppose we should go back and change how he did that.

Now bow is supposed to... I suspect re-doing the parry and dual wield systems from scratch is going to have to be bumped up in priority.

Sorry if it's been posted before but I've been recently stuck with a quite annoying bug myself where I assigned a tome spell to a hotkey and used a forgetfulness potion on the spell in my first slot, so it shifted the order of all my spells.
The hotkey kept the position it was assigned to so it was the wrong spell now, but I couldn't change it at all.
Trying to hold down the hotkey button on anything just doesn't do anything after more than a minute and as soon as I let go it switches to the spell.
So it seems like I can't change it at all, is there a console command for clearing them in the meantime?

EDIT: So I was able to change it by changing the key "+quickslot 3" was bound to and then it let me change it, while it was assigned to F3/kp_pgdn I was unable to change it completely so I'm guessing the fact that it was a tome spell doesn't matter much for this bug. After changing it and then rebinding it to F3/kp_pgdn it worked normally again! Really strange.

It better not get ahead of the long waited magic system rework...! :mad:

Nah, the weapon/item modification system is holding that back just fine. ;)

So it seems like I can't change it at all, is there a console command for clearing them in the meantime?
That is odd... Glad you manage to fandangle your way out of that, but I'll look into adding a quickslot_reset command in case some similar situation arises. I think the system is similar to quest data, so may not be that hard.

I once had the same issue as prodigalist. My 21st quickslot (bound to Alt+F1 by means of quickslot shifting) could not be reassigned until I bound the command "+quickslot 21" to a different key. Reassigning it with that different key worked fine and now pressing Alt+F1 to equip the assigned item works again.

Oh well. At least this bug appears to be very, very rare.

To add to it, it seems like I can only re-assign the hotkey by using a key different than what it was originally bound to.
Other than that everything functions normally!
