If he has any sense of honor he'll drop the axe - it won't do him much good at level 12 anyways. (Something like an 85% miss chance at 12, I think.)

If he wasn't aware it wasn't a legitimate item or believed it was; why did he claim to have gotten it from "some elite mission"? Then *AFTER* I attacked him he changed his story to having received it from a player. That is something I would like answers for...
Also, why hasn't he responded yet -_-
Surely his Internet isn't so crappy that he can't upload/send the file to you Thothie? His ping wasn't too horrible on my crappy lil'server

I merely banned him from my server, and even that is going to be temporary should he prove himself to be legit & all that. Some help would be a player who had the level to obtain great axe legitimately posting here to support his claims; since none of the frequent players with the levels needed have posted as of yet...
If "Be" in-fact is a cheater, and is attempting to dupe us all, then I say delete his character; but allow him a chance to rebuild.
Also, something I just thought of, can somebody please compare "Be's" steamID with others? Make sure he isn't a past trouble maker & all that good stuff

Take a breather Net, it's not the end of the world. I think it's obvious that it's just some guy who mistakenly joined a cheat map and didn't know any better. Just leave the thread alone until he uploads the map to Thothie.

question is orcplace2_beta a cheatmap too? and where can i see a list of all the cheatmaps out there so if i see a server running it i can post it or just don't join it.

they be on the worldmap discussion in custom content - the green ones are completed maps which are legal...mebe yellow ones too? i forget, anything on there (except gurluas's bloodrose) is legal (remake of bloodrose coming soon)

Well be-trapped, there are no logs of the sort you are asking about (to my knowledge). And I suppose I owe you an apology for acting out so quickly, assumptiously, and aggressively towards you for having that item... just figured you for a liar when you said you got it from some elite mission; then when you changed your story to a player when I explained that no quest/mission gives the Great Axe...

The FN FAQ says any map in linked the Custom Content section is legal, I believe... I realize, however, given the vastness of said thread - that does squat for you... I am going to *have* to make a sticky in the FN section, obviously. Shoulda been done awhile ago... Mañana.
Shorter list of "everything in Custom Content" would also include just about everything on my web page with the exceptions of those links that are marked specifically "not FN friendly".
In anycase, send me that map quickly - even if it is a cheatmap, it maybe something worth salvaging - not all cheatmaps are deliberately designed as such - some just make life too easy on ya.

Please don't spider bait my e-mail... I dun actually get that much spam at that address. Ya can spam my hotmail account all ya want though - it's pure spam - as I've had it well before M$ took it over - but I hardly notice anything there as a result. Dun want my spam (at) thothie.com to wind up the same way.
As for the map... I haven't had the chance to look it over in detail, but from the ripent... There's no fire boss here... Nor anything else that would drop the great axe: just some boars, bears, and shops, and a couple of, what would have to be, under-guarded treasures - none of which would have a Great Axe.
I won't get the chance to get a closer look at it until tomorrow - but near as I can tell - unless someone dropped the axe there - I can't think of anyway it would appear there.
It seems to be the prequel to Aftermath (it connects to that map).
PS. There's a lot of threads I haven't responded to, as I'm not going to be in long today, apparently... Hopefully I'll get to them when the aliens return me tomorrow.

Meh, I suppose next time he should choose his words more carefully; since when you say you get an item from a quest/mission people get the wrong idea pretty fast

Hopefully I get a chance to actually see the map later today, but yeah, by the scriptfiles - there's no way it could spawn there.
Gotta 'splain this to those unfamiliar with net-spiders - but basically, there are these puters dedicated to roaming the net in automated fashion to grab keywords and info for search engines and the like - known as Spiders. Many of them are dedicated to simply finding e-mails they can spam. So whenever you put your e-mail in a public forum, or your web page, or whatnot, there is a good chance that eventually some spam-spider will pick it up and add it to a spam database for with which to send you ads. Thus I always do my e-mails with (at) instead of @, in the theory that it fools most of em. I know it fools at least one fer sure, having seen its source code. The other method is to use html code strings, but I know that doesn't always work due to the way forums filter.
Except my [email protected] - cuz again, it's a lost cause. Good for when I need to submit my e-mail somewhere I *know* is going to spam me.

It has already been mentioned that a player could've given it to him; read everything possible, or at least skim the posts, before posting a repetitive answer
